Treasury annually publishes an interstate comparison of Western Australia’s taxes and royalties. A number of formal reviews of State taxes, and WA Treasury’s forecasts of revenue, have also been published.

The Overview of State Taxes and Royalties provides information on Western Australia's taxes, mineral and petroleum royalties including current rates, key exemptions and concessions, interstate comparisons, revenue collections, and historic information on changes to rates and bases.
