Form
The Minister for Emergency Services declared a State of Emergency Emergency in response to COVID-19.

A state of emergency is in effect for the whole of Western Australia pursuant to the Emergency Management Act 2005 (WA) (the Act). In connection with that state of emergency, the State Emergency Coordinator has given the Quarantine (Closing the Border) Directions (the Directions).

Those Directions prohibit entry into Western Australia by any person other than an exempt traveller. The categories of who is an exempt traveller are set out in the Directions. If you are not an exempt traveller you may commit an offence by entering Western Australia and you will be refused entry and asked to leave.
