Application forms and materials will be made available during the nomination period each year.
The application process is a two-stage process.
Stage 1 - written application
The first stage in the application process involves a written application addressing the evaluation criteria on the WA IOTY application form.
Stage 1 evaluations are based on written applications only.
Stage 2 - pitch presentation to judging panel
Following the submission of the written applications, an evaluation panel for each category will evaluate eligible applications against the criteria and develop a shortlist for each category.
The final evaluation panel will select four finalists from each of the two categories, Emerging Innovation and Growth.
The eight finalists and the unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email.
Finalists will present a 15 minute pitch to the evaluation panel, followed by 10 minutes of question and answer time.
Following the pitch presentations the winners will be decided and announced at the awards ceremony.
