Lodge a written mandatory report of child sexual abuse

Mandatory reporting legislation requires specific people or professionals to report concerns of child abuse to child protection agencies.

In Western Australia, it is a legal requirement for doctors, nurses, midwives, teachers, police officers and boarding supervisors to report all reasonable beliefs of child sexual abuse, to the Department of Communities.

Written reports can be submitted online through the Mandatory Reporting Web System (MRWeb).

Further information is available on the mandatory reporting site.

Alternatively, you can complete the downloadable Mandatory Report Form, which is available from the make a report page.
