Coronial inquiry advice and support

The counselling service facilitates communication between the next of kin and all other parties and provide counselling and support during a coronial inquiry.

When people become involved with the State coronial system, it is often under extremely difficult and generally traumatic circumstances.

When a family member dies suddenly you may feel a great sense of powerlessness, confusion and a loss of control over your life.

A duty counsellor is available 7.00 am to 6.00 pm daily on  61 8 9425 2900 or 1800 671 994 for country callers.

A counsellor is available after hours on 0419 904 476.
