The Kimberley Science and Conservation Strategy aims to conserve the natural cultural values of the Kimberley and includes:
- a marine science program
- working with traditional owners
- training and employment of Aboriginal rangers
- providing links between conservation groups
- establishing new marine parks
- new terrestrial reserves
- a conservation reserve corridor
- upgraded visitor facilities
- investment in nature based tourism
- prescribed burns and much more
