The air quality impacts of grossly polluting vehicles are potentially thousands of times that of newer or well-maintained vehicles in the same class.
The Smoky Vehicle Reporting Program is a key initiative of the Diesel National Environmental Protection Measures and the Perth Air Quality Management Plan.
The program is implemented with the support of the Department of Transport.
The online form is for reporting vehicles that have visible smoke emitting for more than 10 seconds.
Your report must include:
- your contact details
- smoky vehicle registration number
- make and model of vehicle
- vehicle colour
- where you saw the vehicle
- date and time you saw the vehicle
